Adding Assets to a Project
Assets are the specific locations, structures, or items that you need to inspect or capture during your drone missions.
What is an Asset?
An asset can be:
- A building or structure to inspect
- A piece of infrastructure (power line, pipeline, etc.)
- A specific GPS location to photograph
- Equipment that needs monitoring
Adding a Single Asset
- Open your project
- Click "Add Asset" or the "+" button
- Enter the asset details:
- Name/Identifier: A unique name for the asset
- Address: The street address (will be geocoded automatically)
- GPS Coordinates: Latitude and longitude if known
- Asset Type: Categorize the asset
- Description: Additional details about the asset
- Click "Save Asset"
Adding Assets from the Map
You can also add assets directly from the map view:
- Open the project map
- Click the "Add Asset" tool
- Click on the map at the desired location
- Fill in the asset details in the popup form
- Save the asset
Asset Status
Each asset has a status that tracks progress:
- Pending: Not yet visited
- In Progress: Currently being worked on
- Completed: Mission accomplished
- On Hold: Temporarily paused
