Pausing and Removing Users

Manage your team by pausing inactive users or removing those who have left the company.

Pausing a User

Pausing temporarily disables a user's access without removing them:

  1. Navigate to Company Admin > Users
  2. Find the user
  3. Click "Pause" or "Deactivate"
  4. Confirm the action

When to Pause

  • Extended leave of absence
  • Seasonal workers off-season
  • Pending investigation

Effect of Pausing

  • User cannot log in
  • Their data and history are preserved
  • They don't count toward seat limits
  • Can be reactivated anytime

Reactivating a Paused User

  1. Go to Company Admin > Users
  2. Show paused users (filter or tab)
  3. Click "Reactivate"
  4. The user can log in immediately

Removing a User

Removing permanently deletes a user's access:

  1. Navigate to Company Admin > Users
  2. Find the user
  3. Click "Remove" or "Delete"
  4. Confirm you understand this is permanent

Before Removing

  • Reassign their active projects
  • Transfer ownership of important assets
  • Download any reports you need

After Removal

  • User cannot log in
  • Their activity history remains for auditing
  • Their data may be reassigned or anonymized
  • Cannot be undone
