Pausing and Removing Users
Manage your team by pausing inactive users or removing those who have left the company.
Pausing a User
Pausing temporarily disables a user's access without removing them:
- Navigate to Company Admin > Users
- Find the user
- Click "Pause" or "Deactivate"
- Confirm the action
When to Pause
- Extended leave of absence
- Seasonal workers off-season
- Pending investigation
Effect of Pausing
- User cannot log in
- Their data and history are preserved
- They don't count toward seat limits
- Can be reactivated anytime
Reactivating a Paused User
- Go to Company Admin > Users
- Show paused users (filter or tab)
- Click "Reactivate"
- The user can log in immediately
Removing a User
Removing permanently deletes a user's access:
- Navigate to Company Admin > Users
- Find the user
- Click "Remove" or "Delete"
- Confirm you understand this is permanent
Before Removing
- Reassign their active projects
- Transfer ownership of important assets
- Download any reports you need
After Removal
- User cannot log in
- Their activity history remains for auditing
- Their data may be reassigned or anonymized
- Cannot be undone
