Using the Interactive Map

The interactive map is a powerful tool for visualizing your assets, planning flight paths, and understanding your mission area.

Map Navigation

  • Pan: Click and drag to move around the map
  • Zoom: Use the scroll wheel or +/- buttons to zoom in and out
  • Double-click: Quick zoom to a location

Map Layers

Toggle different layers to see the information you need:

  • Assets: Show or hide asset markers
  • Satellite: Switch between satellite imagery and street map
  • Airspace: Display FAA airspace restrictions
  • Sensitive Facilities: Show nearby airports, schools, and other sensitive locations

Asset Markers

Each asset appears as a colored marker on the map:

  • Colors indicate asset status (Pending, In Progress, Completed, etc.)
  • Click a marker to see asset details
  • Double-click to open the full asset page

Map Tools

The map toolbar provides several useful tools:

  • Measure: Calculate distances and areas
  • Draw: Create polygons and boundaries
  • Search: Find specific addresses or coordinates
  • Export: Save the map view as an image

Fullscreen Mode

Click the fullscreen button to expand the map for better visibility when planning complex missions.
