Using Flight Checklists
Checklists are critical tools for ensuring consistent, safe drone operations. Never skip your checklists, even if you're an experienced pilot.
Types of Checklists
Pre-Flight Checklist
Complete before every flight:
- Battery charge verified
- Propellers secure and undamaged
- Camera/sensor functioning
- Controller connected
- GPS lock acquired
- Home point set
- Weather conditions confirmed
- Airspace cleared
In-Flight Checklist
Monitor during flight:
- Battery level
- Signal strength
- GPS status
- Obstacle awareness
- Weather changes
Post-Flight Checklist
Complete after each flight:
- Battery removed and stored
- Equipment inspected for damage
- Flight logs saved
- Data backed up
- Issues documented
Using Digital Checklists
- Navigate to Safety > Checklists
- Select the appropriate checklist
- Check off each item as completed
- Add notes for any anomalies
- Submit the completed checklist

Administrators can create custom checklists for:
